I just got a call from that number, and the person said they were from Legal and General. Since I don't have any policy with them, I ended the call straight away. I’d really recommend checking with your policy provider if you receive a call like this because it sounds like they’re targeting older people!

Got a call from some bloke in India trying to sell me life insurance. He had all my info but needed to confirm stuff like my name, address, and age. When I started asking him a few questions back, he suddenly told me to “hope I die” and called me a rude name before hanging up. I only picked up the first call, after that, they’d ring once or twice then just stop. If they’re not working from home, they seriously oughta be stopped for wasting time and just plain harassment. I always avoid calling back numbers I don't know that popped up as missed calls. Its usually a trick to get u connected to some super expensive premium number, which can cost u loads, sometimes close to £20 for just one call! Just dont call back random numbers, if it was something important they will get back to u themselves. Stay sharp and don't get tricked by these scammers!

Got a call bright and early at 9.15am on Wednesday, 20th May 2020 asking about my life insurance. I didn’t carry on with the chat as it seemed dodgy. I reckon I’ve had calls from them before. It’s all about them trying to snoop around for details about life insurance and how your data is handled under GDPR. They only have your name and number, so it’s clear they’re fishing for information. They haven't got a clue about who your insurer is at the moment. All they want is to harvest personal details from you and then try to peddle their own insurance deals from different companies. It's a right nuisance!
