Got a really pushy call early this morning around 7:45, some bloke telling me my internet was down and I had to switch on my computer and update it or else the connection wouldn’t work. I asked him for his name and a manager’s contact number, and he gave me 9050134541. I looked it up on here and the number doesn’t seem legit. Later on, there was another call from that same number around 9:46, but I didn’t pick up.

I picked up the phone, but there was silence on the other end. A few moments later, they just hung up after a brief 'goodbye.' Quite odd, really.

Typical routine, the phone rings a few times but stops just before I can answer. Seems like they’re banking on us calling them back, trying to make a quick buck off our gullibility.

Got a call from someone saying there was an issue with my internet. They told me to switch on my computer and do what they said. I told them I actually don’t have internet at all and they just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Today, my mum and dad were speaking with these folks on the phone for almost three hours! It’s exactly like the last time - they said they were just going to improve the internet, but I’m sure it’s another scam.

Got a call from some Indian call centre pretending to be BT, total nightmare to deal with, to say the least.

Without a doubt, this is a scam.

For anyone fed up with these annoying calls, honestly get yourself a Di8600 call blocker. It’s the best bit of gear I’ve ever got. It snags all those dodgy callers so you don’t have to deal with scam calls anymore. Total peace of mind. TPS never seemed to help since most of these calls come from abroad, maybe Russia or Nigeria, and they couldn’t care less about TPS. I’ve blocked this number now and I know I won’t be bothered by them again.

We’ve had this number ringing us non stop. My hubby answered it once, then I did earlier today. The caller said our internet would be cut off after tomorrow because of lots of issues, which sounded like total rubbish to me. I told them to stop calling straight away. The lady on the phone, who sounded Asian, actually had the nerve to ask why I didn’t trust them! I decided to block the number from our home phone now.

I got a call from this number a few times, but whenever I picked up, there was silence on the other end. Didn't seem worth the effort to ring back.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying there were problems with my internet and that if I didn’t update some software on my laptop, my connection would get cut off. They asked me to head over to a website called AnyDesk, which I later found out is for remote desktop access. I wasn’t convinced at all and told them so, and they just ended the call. Watch out for these scammers and don’t fall for it!

for the past couple of weeks, ive been getting endless calls from 01924828722. every time i pick up, there’s just silence, then they hang up. calling them back is useless, they never pick up. im on the telephone preference service but honestly it seems pointless, as this is still happening nonstop.

This number matches 01924838721 and it's the same lot with the Asian accents claiming to be from BT, warning about some virus on your computer. They try to convince you to go online and give them remote access to fix the problem. I just told them, "Why not just take my bank details, makes stealing from me simpler." After that, they ended the call straight away!
