someone rang claiming to be from bt, saying there was some dodgy activity on my router. i barely got a chance to say anything becuase they kept talking over me. when i finally managed to say something, i called them out as a scammer and they just hung up straight away.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT. They insisted my router had shown some dodgy behaviour for a number of weeks. Every time I tried to get a word in, they just talked over me. Eventually, I raised my voice and labelled them as a scam, and that’s when they promptly hung up on me.

I received a call from someone claiming to represent BT. They alerted me to some strange activity detected on my router. I instantly recognised it as a scam and hung up. They attempted to ring back a couple of times and managed to reach my husband on the second call, insisting that he sit down at the computer for some troubleshooting. He quickly realised it was yet another scam and set them straight!
