someone rang claiming to be from bt, saying there was some dodgy activity on my router. i barely got a chance to say anything becuase they kept talking over me. when i finally managed to say something, i called them out as a scammer and they just hung up straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying there'd been weird stuff happening on my router for weeks. Every time I tried to say something, they just talked over me and wouldn't let me get a word out. Eventually, I yelled that they were trying to scam me, and then they just hung up on me.

Somebody rang me saying they were from BT, claiming there was dodgy activity on my router. I quickly told them it was a load of rubbish and hung up. They phoned again a couple of times, the second call was answered by my husband. They tried to get him to sit at the computer and do stuff, but he just asked if it was another scam and cut them off.
