Got a call today around 1:08pm from someone claiming to be with UK Nissan, which was obviously a fib. He tried to confirm my name and address, but when I straight up asked what the call was about, he just ended the call. Weird behaviour if you ask me.

Got a call from an Asian guy who said his name was David. He claimed he was from some UK organisation and wanted to ask me a few questions. He insisted he wasn’t selling anything, but I’ve had calls like this before. Definitely a scam.

Just a heads up, they seem to be dialing with numbers that go down one digit each time. Yesterday it was 0191.198, then today 0191.197, so tomorrow might be 0191.196. Watch out for them.

Got a ring from 0191 949 0197, which was close to another number ending in 98 that called me yesterday about insulation stuff. This time they said they weren’t selling anything, just wanted to ask some questions. They first wanted to chat with me by name, but it was clear as day a scam. I humoured them with simple answers, but then they asked if I knew the date today. I told them not to be daft and told them to take me off their list. Then I blocked the number.

Got a few calls today from this number, about 6 times, then another one ending with a 6. It was a guy speaking with an Asian accent but I couldn't quite make out the company he was from. He just asked for me by my first name and wanted a quick 20 seconds to talk. I ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.

Within just two hours, this number rang me five times. I missed the first call cause I was driving and they left no voicemail. On the second ring, I picked up only for them to hang up immediately. Claimed to be representing something called 'British Nation' and kept insisting I verify my personal information. They wouldn’t accept my refusal, so in the end, I had to hang up and blacklist the number. Not a pleasant experience at all!

For the past three years, I've been inundated with calls from different numbers, all of them seeking a chap named Peter Beckett. I've ended up blocking each one, but it seems like this latest number is now trying to pester me as well regarding this elusive individual. It's really starting to get on my nerves!
