Got a call on our work line today. As soon as it reached our greeting, they just hung up. Honestly, OfComm, isn’t it time you actually tackled these scam calls? It’s literally your responsibility. And to the UK Government, why not tie cutting foreign aid to how well countries deal with these scam calls? If a nation can’t sort out their scammers, then keep slashing the aid until they get their act together. It's not rocket science.

Got a bunch of silent calls from a number, then a guy with a sort of Asian accent finally had a word. Definitely not interested in dealing with them. According to maps, they're hanging about near Nevilles Cross. Honestly, Nevilles isn’t the only thing around here feeling a bit off!

My phone showed a number from Durham earlier, but when I picked up the call, it just ended straight away. This is the fifth unwanted call I’ve had today, all coming from various numbers. When I questioned the first caller, they warned if I ended the call, someone else would ring me. The fourth call actually cut me off after I told them I was worried they had access to my address details. I didn’t get the chance to answer the second call, and the third and fifth calls dropped as soon as I picked up.

Got three calls from this number earlier today. Picked up on the third ring and the lady immediately said, 'I'm not here to sell you anything,' but then started asking questions about my home. When I asked what survey it was for and what it was about, she just brushed it off and didn’t answer. She then mentioned a previous address of mine and asked if that was right. the person calling me kept probing for personal details and when i declined to respond he repeated, ‘are you ###ung deaf’ twice, dropping his voice like he didn’t want anyone else hearing it. I attempted to ring his number back but no luck, and the answerphone mentioned a site which, after a quick google, turned out to be linked to a church. this has ‘scam’ written all over it in my opinion.
