Got a call earlier from someone saying they were with one 2 one utility, asking about who provides the gas and electric for our business address. When I told them that we don’t even have a gas supply here, the person on the phone got quite rude and just ended the call abruptly. Definitely seems like a scam to me. I tried ringing them back but no luck, the number wouldn't pick up my calls at all. Best to stay clear of this!

Got a call from 0191 716 8631, they were saying they could help cut down on energy costs. They asked straight away for a director by name, like they’d already checked out who’s in charge at Companies House. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I keep receiving calls from this number, and it's clearly some sort of automated service. Each time I either don’t get a voicemail or when I pick up, there’s just silence before it cuts off. It's rather bothersome, to say the least. I've gone ahead and blocked this particular number, but I suspect they'll simply ring me using various other numbers, making it an incessant nuisance.

I got calls on the 21st and 20th of March, but whenever I answered, the call just cut off straight away.

Some guy called saying he was from this "Gas group" and was trying to sell me cheaper tariffs. When I asked for his name or the company’s name, he just couldn’t say. Also, he didn’t give me any contact number. He told me it was like an outgoing call system thing and claimed he couldn’t leave any info because of data protection rules or something. Sounded dodgy to me.

I reckon this outfit is trying to convince folks to lock in their energy rates now, even though their contracts aren't set to finish for another year. They’re keen on getting you to commit ahead of time, all in the name of turning a tidy profit. Based on the insights I've gathered from an energy expert, it’s wise to hold off on any agreements for the moment, as it’s anticipated that prices will actually drop by next Spring. Signing up for plans now will likely cost you more than if you wait to see those reductions. It’s a right pain, as I've also been bombarded with numerous calls. Most of the time, when I pick up, I hear nothing on the other end. Then, when I finally manage to get a live person, they immediately try to set me up with another colleague for a chat about securing a new contract for next year, just as I’m trying to sort through my existing ones that finish in June and September. It's quite the hassle!

Got calls from someone saying they were from a company called Make It Cheaper, trying to sell me price comparisons. My number's been on the TPS list for yonks, but they seemed clueless about it and kept ringing anyway. They called me about 4 or 5 times in one day but never bothered leaving a voicemail. What’s more, my call display just showed the name Glen - no mention of the company at all. Proper annoying!
