Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent about some phone network deal. Asked him twice where he was calling from as I couldn’t catch it properly, but still didn’t hear, so I ended the call. He rang back straight away, saying something about upgrading to the iPhone 17. Told him I wasn’t interested at all and hung up, then blocked the number.

Got a call from some guy in India claiming he was with Tesco mobile. Told him, “I don't shop at Tesco, I only do Asda.” Then he goes, “No mate, Tesco mobile, your network.” I was like, “I don’t even own a mobile.” That seemed to throw him off, and he just ended the call.

Got a call from this number earlier, bloke with an Indian accent. Claimed to be from O2, said my SIM would be blocked cause of 5G stuff. Asked for details to send a new SIM. I told him I'd get in touch with my provider first, didn’t share anything. Looked it up here and decided to block the number. Also found online that O2 knows about this number and the scam, and they've warned people.

Got a call saying it was from Ee, saying my network’s getting updated and to block my current sim so they could send a new one. Then the person started asking for my personal info x I told them, you called me, you should have my details already so no thanks, I’m not sharing anything and ended the call.

Dodgy call - weird Indian accent, line was awful, some bloke claiming to be from Sky 'Network', rambling about if I'm happy with my service and stuff about discounts... It's so frustrating how loads of older people get caught out by these scams - be careful out there!!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from EE. She said they were updating my SIM card and would post a new one out. When I asked where they were sending it, she quickly changed the subject. Definitely not a genuine EE call. Would tell everyone to block this number and don't fall for their dodgy stories.

This number rang me and my phone showed a 'possible scam' warning. I lost it and shouted some rude words at whoever was on the other end (honestly, I'm just really fed up with these annoying calls). After that, they kept ringing me back like mad, about four times in a row, which I just ignored until I finally blocked them.
