Nope. I'm flagging 02983650513 cos ANOTHER call came from an Asian voice, sounded like a phishing scam. Been loads of calls from different numbers with Asian voices, all offering stuff, and I’m well over it. My missus sounded fed up too, we’ve got a sick parent in hospital, they must’ve clocked we weren’t interested. They couldn’t even say our surname right. We’re ex-directory and on the TPS - THIS IS STRAIGHT UP HARASSMENT and needs sorting out, as we never agreed to get any of these calls or offers. How is this allowed to keep happening?!

I received a call from 0191 691 5711, which seems to be a call centre based in North Shields. I had a chat with an individual, but his accent was so strong that I struggled to make out what he was saying-honestly, it felt like he was speaking through a stuffy nose! He was trying to sell smart meters and similar updates. I mentioned that I wasn’t keen on what he was offering, yet they persist with their calls. Absolutely ridiculous! 😂👍 What a bunch of clowns!

It seems they're attempting to peddle a Smart electric meter to unsuspecting customers. They reference regulations that clearly baffle them. While it may seem optional, keep in mind that the entity that owns your meter-not your energy provider-will ultimately swap it for a smart meter as part of their upgrade protocol.

It's best to steer well clear of these individuals; it’s a rather obvious con.
