Nope. I'm flagging 02983650513 cos ANOTHER call came from an Asian voice, sounded like a phishing scam. Been loads of calls from different numbers with Asian voices, all offering stuff, and I’m well over it. My missus sounded fed up too, we’ve got a sick parent in hospital, they must’ve clocked we weren’t interested. They couldn’t even say our surname right. We’re ex-directory and on the TPS - THIS IS STRAIGHT UP HARASSMENT and needs sorting out, as we never agreed to get any of these calls or offers. How is this allowed to keep happening?!

So, this number 0191 691 5711 turned out to be some kind of call centre based around North Shields. I had a chat with a bloke who had such a strong Geordie accent, honestly, it was pretty hard to catch what he was saying, sounded like he had a cold or summat. He was trying to push smart meters and some sort of upgrades on them. I told him to jog on cause I wasn’t interested, yet they keep ringing me up like it's their job! 😂👍 Absolute muppets.

They were calling about installing one of those smart electric meters. They kept talking about rules and regs but I reckon they didn't really know what they were on about. You don't actually have a choice here - your meter owner (which isn't your energy supplier) will swap your current meter for a smart one as part of routine upgrades.
