I recently received a call from this number, purporting to be the national careers office. They were trying to fish for information, asking me which job centre I was associated with. I held my ground and offered them nothing, especially since they seemed unable to even repeat back the name of the job centre I mentioned. After seeing comments about this number, I’m relieved I didn’t divulge any details.

Purporting to represent the national careers service, this caller had the audacity to mention my daughter’s name, which raised my suspicions since she’s only just reached out to the job centre. They were after her date of birth, which I found rather alarming. I promptly advised them to discontinue the conversation and hung up.
