I didn’t pick up, but later there was a voicemail from someone supposedly called Clare Williams at HMRC. It sounded really dodgy, like a robot voice that was all chopped up in that typical American answering machine style. Apparently it’s a well-known scam, trying to trick people into calling back urgently!
