Got a call this morning, 15th August at about 9:56am, from what sounded like “British Telecom” but on a different number. It was a recorded message warning me that my internet would be cut off soon. When I contacted the police and BT, neither seemed bothered or willing to do anything. Same story with Action Fraud. I even tried ringing the number back, but it said it wasn’t in service and that the number could be bought through GTMC! Such a mess.
