However, he wanted us to confirm our name, address, and account number, though he wouldn’t disclose the number he was calling from. We managed to trace it back with 1471. As soon as we mentioned all the dodgy comments we've seen about that number, he went oddly silent. Once we refused to divulge any of our details, he promptly hung up. Fingers crossed that’s the last we hear from that number. I’ll keep you posted!

They were incredibly persistent, trying to get me to confirm my name, address, and email. It felt like they just wouldn’t accept a firm no. I had to make it clear that if we ever needed anything from them, we’d reach out ourselves. In the end, I had to just hang up on them; it was getting a bit ridiculous!
