As soon as I mentioned that I was divorced, a discourteous and disruptive woman abruptly ended the call. She had called to inform me about the possibility of the government providing incentives for the installation of solar panels to aid with energy. However, her behaviour was extremely impolite and disrespectful.

picked up the phone and some bloke was asking for me by name (and somehow had my address as well). he was talking about a government programme for homeowners, but he was mumbling and there was loads of noise from a call centre in the background so it was hard to catch what he was saying. i never got a company name or anything, i just told him we don't own the place as we rent from the council. he said sorry for bothering us and wished us a good day. bit unnerving they have those details though, to be honest.
