Called Telecom and they were super pushy, felt like a scam to me.

This bloke rang me up, said his name was Saj and reckoned he was from Connex, some sort of telecom company. He even messed up our company name. I told him we didn’t want what he was offering and just ended the call.

got another call from this indian bloke with a geordie accent! rang a vets office this time. i asked what the call was about because he didn’t explain properly, and then he started getting rude real quick. claimed he was ringing from connect - which he said is the uk’s largest telecom company, then wanted to set up an appointment for his cat named lilly. then out of nowhere he said he’d just go find a different vet and slammed the phone down! absolutely bizarre.

I got a call from some telecoms salesman and was amazed how clueless he was. When I asked him to erase my details, he hadn’t even a clue about GDPR rules. Such a poorly trained cold caller!

Got a call from someone selling cheap internet and phone deals, just like others have said. When I asked where they were based, they got really rude and started shouting. Definitely a dodgy call, seemed like a proper scam to me.

Got a call about switching to a cheaper internet and landline package, they said it was way less than what I'm currently paying.

They even offered to pop round to my place to set everything up. Sounded a bit too good to be honest, so I’m guessing it’s a bit of a scam.

What a total muppet. Kept trying to come across all posh but kept slipping back into some weird Indian Geordie accent. No idea what his game was, honestly. Bit of a poor sod really.

This man called me twice just now. The first time, he was rambling about landlines or something, so I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. I noticed kids playing noisily in the background. Right after, he rang me again and started shouting, then hung up before I could even find out where he was calling from. Is there any way to protect others from getting these annoying calls? I’ve already marked his number as spam, but it’s still pretty frustrating.

A guy called me and he sounded like he had been drinking. I ended up having to repeat myself three times to the same question, but he kept pushing me to say it again. When I asked which company he was working for, he just got rude and then cut the call.
