Called Telecom and they were super pushy, felt like a scam to me.

Rang my home phone then just cut off! I wasn’t inclined to pick up since the number seemed unfamiliar to me!

They misidentified our company and introduced themselves as Saj from Connex, a telecoms firm. I mentioned we weren't keen on their offer and promptly ended the call.

Oh, it’s that familiar Indian lad from Geordieland again! He rang the veterinary clinic, you know. Honestly, his attitude was appalling. When I inquired about his intentions, he just got nasty on me, which was quite unexpected. He claimed to be contacting us from Connect, apparently the largest telecoms provider in the UK, and then he mentioned wanting to set up an appointment for his cat, Lilly. But then, in a huff, he declared he’d look for another vet and slammed the phone down! Quite the experience, I must say!

Absolutely abysmal experience with a salesman who was cold calling from a telecoms company. I mentioned my right to have my details wiped under GDPR, and he didn't have the foggiest idea what I was on about!

Similar to other remarks I've come across, this chap was peddling budget phone and internet deals. However, when I questioned him, he turned quite nasty. It's obvious this is a scam, especially since he refused to disclose his location.

Called me earlier in the day but didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, so it seems pretty clear they’re not on the level, doesn't it?

I received a call presenting a seemingly fantastic deal on my landline and internet services-over 50% less than my current bills! They even suggested coming over to demonstrate how it operates. It all seems a bit too good to be authentic, if you ask me, so I’m highly sceptical.

I've just had the misfortune of receiving a second call from this chap. During the first call, he was rambling on about something to do with landlines, but I quickly let him know I wasn't keen and hung up. Oddly enough, I could hear kids playing in the background. To my surprise, he rang me again straight away and was quite rude, hanging up before I could even find out which company he was calling from. What measures can be taken to protect others from such nuisances? I've already marked his number as spam, but it feels like more needs to be done.

The chap on the line appeared to have had one too many drinks. I found myself repeating the same answer three times over, yet he kept pressing for a response. His tone turned a bit impolite, and when I inquired about the company he represented, he abruptly cut the call.
