Got a call from someone who sounded Asian, trying to push life insurance on me. Felt like a total scam tbh, really dodgy vibes from the start. Stay careful out there!

Didn’t get any voicemail or anything, but after seeing what others said about this number, I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it.

Got a call from this number earlier today (and it was a Saturday too!). Didn’t leave any voicemail or anything. That’s the third time they’ve tried me in just one day.

Got a call just now, but no voicemail left. Reading other comments, it’s clear this is a scam. First they pretended to be from HMRC, now they’re trying to sell TV warranties!

Got a call earlier about renewing my insurance for my telly. Told the bloke it wasn’t necessary and asked him to take me off the list. Then he started being rude, calling me a stupid woman. The phone stayed open for ages and I couldn’t even hang up.

So my girl got a voicemail from some bloke called Dennis Grey who said he was from HMRC. She showed it to me and we soon figured it was a total scam. Weirdly, she had two messages from him, but they came from different phone numbers. I looked up 01905570306 and 02392161189 online and it turned out they were bogus numbers!

Got a robo call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, said their name was Officer Denis or something. They warned me about serious legal trouble if I or my solicitor didn’t ring them back. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Just like the rest, this was a total scam pretending to be HMRC. They warned me with “there will be consequences if you don't act!” which no real HMRC agent would ever say. Definitely not legit!

I rang hmrc to check and they told me the number was bogus. They advised me to report it at www.actionfraud.police.uk. Apparently, hmrc never leaves voicemail messages threatening legal action.

This number was calling me claiming to be from HMRC, but it's obvious its a scam. Don't trust it!

I recently received a dodgy call purporting to be from HMRC or the Inland Revenue and Customs. The individual on the line wanted me to ring back with information that seemed quite plausible, but soon began fishing for more sensitive personal details. Engaging with them could leave your phone number vulnerable to hacks for even more private information. To my knowledge, HMRC does NOT initiate phone calls for litigation notices. If you're in doubt, it’s best to contact HMRC directly yourself. I strongly recommend BLOCKING THIS NUMBER IMMEDIATELY!

I got an automated voicemail saying it was from HMRC about an urgent issue that needed sorting straight away, which honestly scared me at first. But after giving it a bit of thought and doing some digging, it turns out it’s a scam or some sort of fraud.

I got a call from this number earlier and it was some kind of automated voice claiming I needed to ring them straight away or get my lawyer involved. When I rang back, they accused me of messing with the government and lying about my earnings. It sounded dodgy, so I just ended the call. Is this some kind of scam?

This number is a total fake, claiming to be from HMRC. Don't bother calling it back, it's definitely a scam! Stay clear!

This number popped up on my phone and I had no clue who it was. Then some robotic voice started talkin about it being urgent and from HMRC, saying if I didn’t do something I’d face serious legal trouble. They told me to call some officer Dennis Cray (I think I got the name slightly wrong). I called back but then looked it up online and saw loads of warnings about scams with this number while trying to get in touch with HMRC through their official site. So far, nothing bad has happened though.
