Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I looked it up here. Really pleased I did!

Whenever these scammers ring me up, I pick up and let them do their spiel. Then I tell them that I can't even drive since I’ve got no arms or legs, so accidents aren’t really possible for me. Most times, they just get stunned and end up hanging the phone straight away.

got a call asking if i'd been in any accidents over the past three years. wasn’t sure if it was a pre-recorded message or someone reading from a script. i told them i was onto their scam and mentioned i work for a cab company. they seemed a bit lost for words so i said it again and then they just ended the call.
