7 yearsFor the past couple of days, I've been getting calls from this number claiming that my washing machine insurance is up for renewal. I'm absolutely certain it's a scam, as I'm not even with that company. When I tried to question them and pointed out that I wasn't insured with them, they hung up on me before I could even finish. Quite cheeky, if you ask me!7 yearsI’ve had a number of calls concerning something about a 'cover for my washing machine'. When I mentioned this, the woman on the line abruptly disconnected. I tried ringing the same number back, but all I got was a cheery ‘goodbye’ message. Quite peculiar, I must say!7 yearsI just had a phone call from this number, and the caller claimed they were reaching out about renewing my insurance for household appliances. They mentioned the specific items I had covered and started outlining the costs for the renewal. However, I expressed my doubts about whether they were actually my current insurer. They proceeded to mention that they could offer me a more competitive deal if I opted to pay for two or three years upfront. When I enquired about the price for three years, they quoted me just over £300, which seemed excessive and not in line with what I was used to. I reiterated that they weren't my existing provider and found their offer quite steep. At that point, the caller abruptly hung up. I’ve received several similar calls over the last few months, and I was under the impression that such practices had been made illegal.Submit Your Own Report (01903 958157)
