I don’t even have a loft, so when someone called offering loft insulation, it was a bit confusing! How can you fit insulation in a space that isn’t there? Bit strange if you ask me.

Some bloke named Matthew rang me saying it was about government-backed insulation that supposedly got put in my loft recently. I told him straight up he’d got the wrong number and then he just hung up without another word.

as soon as i answered the phone it was cut off, so i’ve blocked that number now

I got a call and first, nothing for a moment, then a click and a man said, "Hello, this is Matthew regarding the loft insulation you arranged." I told him he must have the wrong number, and he just ended the call straight away.
