I’m having the same issue as someone else mentioned here. My provider is Virgin Media and I also use BT Call Guardian. I never return calls to dodgy numbers, especially ones starting 0190. This sort of thing really should be reported to Ofcom.

I picked up once and told them to remove me from their calling list because I get called every day and it’s just harassment. They said I must’ve ticked some box (I asked for proof but they couldn’t show any), and that I need to go on another app to untick things. This lot are just pestering people to get them onto some other app. Firms like this really deserve a fine.

I noticed a charge on my phone bill linked to this number! I never return calls and I’ve got BT call guardian set up, so calls dont even come through unless the caller says their name and hits #. Kinda makes me think these folks might be trying to make you pay just for ANSWERING their calls. Has anyone else seen this happen? Would be good to hear if others have got this too!

Got a call about a refund today, seemed a bit off though. They asked for my bank details right away, which made me suspicious. Be careful with these refund calls, could easily be a scammer trying to get your info. Always double check before giving anything out!

I bought something online for my wife and gave my phone number in case there were any delivery issues. Of course, that company must have passed my number on to these annoying folks. When I picked up their first call, they wanted to talk to my wife, but I said she wasn’t around. Since then, they just hang up as soon as I answer.
