Then a guy with a really strong Indian accent started talking - I had trouble catching what he was saying about my bill. I told him I couldn’t quite get it and ended the call. Tried ringing back but the number didn’t come up.

Got a call from a lady with a strong foreign accent who said she was from BT. She mentioned there was some issue with our internet and asked us to switch it on so she could fix it. I told her it’s not with BT, so no way I was gonna follow her instructions. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I told him I’d be reporting his number to the Police and then ended the call. Pretty sure this was some kind of scam.
