Got a call from a call centre using the number 02038418627 pretending to be British Telecom. They said my internet would be disconnected because my PC was apparently sending scam emails. They also rang me from 01216281732 and 0014412162817 all on the same day. Seemed dodgy to me.

Some guy who claimed to be from BT called my dad saying he'd been scammed. He sounded so convincing and got him to enter loads of personal details. Turns out it was all fake, a proper scam! Please avoid picking up if this number rings you. It’s really risky! My dad’s now having to sort everything out and change all his info to stop them getting access.

I got a call from some bloke in India who claimed he was calling from the Telephone Preference Service or something like that. He said starting tomorrow, I wouldn't get any spam calls anymore. Oddly, he already knew where I lived, then asked if I pay my phone bill using direct debit. When I said yes, he wanted the expiry date of my card. That was when I just ended the call.
