I picked up but didn’t say a word, everything was silent for a moment. Then, out of nowhere, a woman’s voice from a recording quietly said “bye bye” before the call disconnected.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, asking for my IP address. I’m pretty sure it was a scam because they spoke with a really thick Indian accent. When I said I wasn’t giving out info and hinted it was dodgy, they just hung up on me.

Received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be BT. They were trying to scare my elderly relative into giving them access to her computer. Luckily, she wasn’t having any of it and told them they weren’t from BT and that the IP they gave didn’t even match her line. After that, the caller just hung up on her. Proper scam if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke with a really thick Indian accent who said he was Sandy Martin from BT's tech team. I told him there’s no way he is, and he just cut me off straight away.
