I keep receiving calls from the same lot, though the number changes each time. When I pick up, there's a recorded message claiming to be from BT, asking me to press 1 for BT or 2 for another provider. The first time this happened, I got connected to someone who sounded like they were based in India. The lady told me my computer had been hacked and tried to guide me through some steps to fix it, saying a new hub would be sent out. I was suspicious and questioned her, so she passed me to another person who tried the same thing. When I refused, he just ended the call. I got in touch with BT and they confirmed it was just a scam. These calls have become a daily nuisance now, and I’m jotting down the numbers they use: 01769 965299, 01788 555966, and 01873 356542.
