Got a call from that number just now, and luckily I didn’t pick up. Jotted down the digits and hopped on here to check it out. After seeing all the reviews, I’m really glad I didn’t answer! These scammers have rung me a few times already, and every time I label them as risky cos of their shady calls. Honestly, it’s so infuriating!!!

This number keeps ringing my mum up all the time. She’s 84 and keeps getting calls from people with strong Asian accents claiming to be from 'Talk Talk' about her internet. I picked up once and hung up straight away. They’re always trying to trick her into something. She just tells them she’s confused and to call back when her daughter’s around now. Seriously, it’s so frustrating to see her being targeted like this!

Got a robo call earlier saying "bt is warning that your internet will be cut off" or somethin like that. We don't even have bt so just ended the call straight away. Definitely sounded like a scam!

Got a call yesterday saying my internet was going to be cut off soon, told me to press 2 to sort it out. It felt a bit dodgy since the day before I'd answered a similar call but put it on hold. This time, the person claimed to be from BT Openreach. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

They called my elderly mum and really scared her, she was confused and thought some service was being cancelled. Absolute rubbish, total scammers.

Got a call from a woman who sounded Asian, saying something like "This is TalkTalk calling to tell you your line will be cut off today. Press 1 to talk." I just ended the call, blocked the number, and reported it here straight away. Lately, I’m getting about three calls each day, mostly from unknown numbers that just hang up as soon as I pick up. I can’t block withheld numbers coz I’m waiting for an important call from the hospital, and they don’t show their number. It’s really annoying and I wish there was a way to make it stop.

This morning, I got a call from this number and when I picked up, there was a recorded female voice warning my phone line would be cut off soon and to press 1 to talk to someone. When I pressed 1, a man with an Indian accent came on and asked what the problem was. I told him I'd just had the automated message about my line being disconnected. He admitted it was true, then asked me if I used a computer or a laptop. I said no, I only use my phone, and asked why my line was being cut. Without another word, he just hung up. I tried calling back but the number had been switched off! Total con!

Got a call from this number and it seemed like one of those dodgy scams trying to take over your routers or devices. After a long silence, a recorded voice with an American accent came on saying something about ‘this is an urgent call from British Telecom warning you that your internet will be cut off today. Press 1 to talk to someone and fix the issue.’ I just hung up straight away since I have no deal with BT whatsoever. Honestly, I’d recommend blocking this number to be safe.
