Got a call from this number but no one spoke, just went dead silent and hung up. Calls like this are pointless to even try and call back, it’s probably scammers trying to mess with you. Anyone who answers or tries to engage with these kinds of calls really needs to think twice - these lot are only after draining your money and messing up your credit without caring at all about the damage they cause. Best thing is to just block and flag them as dangerous, nothing else.

I got a call from 01839 521047, and I wasn’t sure if the area code was legit, so maybe I shouldn’t have picked up. After answering, there was just silence for a bit before a robotic voice came on and said ‘goodbye’. Seems like this STD number is some sort of premium rate, so definitely avoid calling it back.
