I've been hounded incessantly about PPI claims, which is quite amusing since I haven't taken out a loan or mortgage in over 25 years! They called my mobile and, when I queried how they got my number, they mentioned they purchased it from some 'trustworthy' source. I certainly don't recall consenting to any business-trustworthy or not-to peddle my contact details! This lot's operating out of Narberth, yet none of the callers sound remotely British, and they're incredibly difficult to understand. It’s equally challenging to get them to cease their relentless chatter. They simply don’t grasp phrases like 'No thank you', 'Please don’t waste my time', or even 'Goodbye'.

I received a rather curious phone call while I was enjoying my holiday. The caller identified themselves as being from Black Pearl Claims and wanted to know if I could spare 90 seconds for a conversation. They assured me it wasn’t a sales pitch. After asking for them to remove my number three times with no success, I insisted on speaking to a supervisor. When I made my request, the chap on the line inquired why I wanted to escalate the matter. I simply reiterated, "Just get me your supervisor, please." When the supervisor finally took over, I clearly stated my wish to have my number removed from their list. The original caller was, indeed, Black Pearl Claims.
