Today, my landline rang from this number and when I answered, there was just a recorded voice claiming to be from BT. I ended up just hanging up straight away.

This number kept ringing me like six times in a row! When I finally picked up, it was some bloke trying his luck selling life insurance. I asked him how he even got my number and he claimed I’d given permission to be called. Told him I definitely hadn’t, but he just talked over me, going on about GDPR like he knew it all. So I told him, if you’re that familiar with it, then delete my info right now and stop calling me ever again.
