I got an automated call from 0128383578 and soon after, this number started ringing my house non stop. Over two days, they phoned 22 times but never said anything when I picked up. Honestly, they don’t give up easily. Best thing is just to ignore it and not pick up.

Over the past couple of days, I've had loads of calls from this number and similar ones like 01818894555, 01818894556, and 02895832280 - around 22 calls altogether. What's weird is that none of them left a message on my answerphone; as soon as it picked up, they just hung up. Also, before all this, I got an automated call from 028384578 which left some kind of long, confusing recording on my machine. Very strange behaviour!

They kept calling me every single day for a whole week, saying something about problems with my computer. I told the guy to wait while I switched it on, but after about ten minutes I just gave up and ended the call. He claimed to be from BT, which I found hilarious because BT never call you first. Honestly, it’s about time someone did something to block these annoying calls from invading folks’ homes. Surely there’s some way to trace where these calls even come from?

I’ve already put in a report for 01818894555 but just noticed my phone’s been ringing from that number too. It’s the usual scam, someone pretending to be from BT about a wireless router. The calls are super annoying and rude, been getting more than ten now. Feels a bit dodgy to me. Really wish I could track down where they’re dialing from. I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. She handed me over to some bloke pretending to be an engineer offering me a £199 refund. He asked for my password, and when I refused and called him out for being rude, he wiped my whole computer. I tried to raise the issue with someone at BT who had a very strong Scottish accent, but it was no use - he didn’t seem bothered and I could barely understand him. Looking back, I should’ve just hung up, but he sounded legit and I’d been struggling with my wifi anyway.

Got a call claiming to be from "BT" saying there was something wrong with my broadband and I needed to turn on my computer. I mentioned that a real BT technician came round just yesterday and found no issues. The guy seemed confused, totally lost without his script. He insisted I log into my PC, but I asked why that would help fix the broadband hub. Then he suddenly asked if I even spoke English! I couldn't help but laugh and asked him to repeat what he’d just said. Before I could respond, he called me stupid and cut the call. What a bizarre experience!

Got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent today claiming there was an issue with my router! It's tough enough dealing with BT when something's wrong, so when someone rings offering help out of the blue, I was instantly suspicious. I asked her if she was actually from BT and requested some proof, plus told her I don't even own a laptop. She just hung up on me. Definitely a scam.

This is the 11th time this number has called me now. They claim to be from TalkTalk or BT, saying there is a problem with my router. I rang BT myself to check and the person on the other end confirmed it’s a scam. They said this number has been reported loads today. Best thing to do is just ignore or hang up straight away. This bloke rang me claiming to be from BT, saying my computer was full of rubbish being downloaded. He waited while I switched it on. Honestly, do folks really fall for this rubbish? These scammers are everywhere. If you ever need help, getting through to BT takes ages - like twenty minutes or more. Why would they ring you out of the blue? It’s obviously some con artists trying it on. Really, companies like BT and TalkTalk should do something to stop these muppets.

Just had a bloke calling claiming to be from 'Talk Talk', going on about loads of dodgy calls coming through my router. I told him it was nice of Talk Talk to bother, even though I’m not their customer! He just cut me off. Then today, some lady with an African accent said she was from BT, trying the same spiel. She asked me to let her on my computer and do some stuff. I told her I couldn’t, and she ended the call straight away!
