It seems rather dubious, to say the least. A chap with an accent that sounded distinctly Indian rang me up claiming to be from Phonehouse, offering a whopping 50% off my mobile contract. When I inquired how he obtained my number, he said it was from my service provider. When I pressed him for the name of that provider, he cheekily stated EE, but that’s not even correct! I promptly hung up on him. I tried to call back, but it only rang a couple of times before cutting off. I wouldn’t trust this outfit for a second; they definitely reek of a scam. Best to steer clear of this one!
