Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, but they ended it before I could pick up.

Here in West Yorkshire, I've noticed a rise in those pesky automated landline calls coming from the southern parts of England since November 2020. When I pick up, it’s just silence on the other end, and if it goes to voicemail, there’s nothing left behind. Quite annoying, to say the least!
