The number had my area's code, so I answered it. An automated message told me that there were two charges on my card - one from Amazon Prime and another for an overseas transfer. It asked me to press 1 if it was right or 2 to talk to someone. Curious, I hit 2 and was quickly connected to someone in India! I asked which bank she was from but she couldn’t say, just that Visa popped up on her screen. I asked again for the bank name, and she still didn’t have an answer. That’s when I told her she was a scammer and hung up straight away.
