The lovely lady I spoke with clarified that they never make personal calls regarding fraudulent activity; instead, any such notification would come from an automated voice system. She was incredibly supportive and, during our first conversation, she confirmed that the number in question was indeed linked to a scam and advised me to either block it, ignore it, or reach out to my mobile provider. I'm truly relieved I contacted the genuine Nationwide Bank.
