I couldn’t help but question him, wondering if this number was somehow linked to any dodgy dealings. I mentioned that I'd done a bit of online sleuthing on the company's name and stumbled upon a plethora of negative reviews labelling these calls as "life insurance or general insurance scams." He assured me that they weren't trying to peddle any insurance, but rather conducting a survey to find out if I had a life insurance policy and how much I'm shelling out each month. He kept insisting he wasn’t on a sales pitch. I was quite direct with him, stating, "I don't have any life insurance, mate." That was pretty much the end of it. He was polite enough, responding with, "Alright, no worries, thank you for your time. Enjoy the rest of your day." We exchanged farewells and hung up. He didn’t come across as pushy or anything more than a typical insurance caller. Overall, my conversation went smoothly because I addressed him directly. If you encounter a similar situation, I’d recommend doing the same to see what they really want.

They keep ringing me multiple times a day, sometimes even twice. I just don’t pick up because I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. They never leave a voicemail or send a text, which just makes me more certain it's some dodgy sales call. This has been happening for over two weeks and honestly, it’s just annoying and feels like harassment.

Got a call from this number a couple of days ago asking for someone I don't even know! I told them they must have the wrong number. Guess what? They just called again, looking for the same person! Seriously, blocked now.
