I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Vitality insurance, mentioning some new Government rules that would supposedly lower my premiums. However, I’d never consented to any third-party contact when I took out my insurance policy, so I had an inkling that this wasn’t the real Vitality, but rather a dubious outfit that clearly had my information through less-than-reputable means. I firmly informed them I wasn't interested, and they responded with hostility before abruptly ending the call. Exercise caution with these types of communications and avoid sharing any personal details! 😟

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Vitality insurance, saying new rules meant they could reduce my premiums. I never agreed to third party calls (I never do) when I signed up for insurance, and I knew straight away this wasn’t really Vitality - just some dodgy outfit using my info without permission. When I said I wasn’t interested, they turned quite rude and then hung up. Seriously, don’t trust these people or hand over any details :(

I got a call from someone claiming to be from L&G about my life insurance. They asked for my height and weight and whether I'd prefer to lower my monthly premiums or boost my coverage.

This number rang me, saying they were from some sort of advisory board checking Aviva policies. I told them straight up I wouldn’t share any details on the phone. The person replied with something like, "fine then, if you want to keep overpaying for your life cover, suit yourself." I hung up after that. Then they tried ringing me again, but from 01792 721170.

Today, I received a call from someone who said they represented the insurance company managing my policy. They claimed they could lower my life insurance premiums. During the conversation, they asked about my monthly payment, the start date, and when the policy ends. They even wanted to know my age, height, and weight. The caller then hung up, mentioning that another person would get in touch with more details. I chose to just ignore that follow-up call altogether.
