I answered the phone this afternoon, but the caller hung up on me. We're currently laid up at home, unwell, and honestly, the last thing we need is unnecessary phone calls; it’s quite draining to have to reach for the phone when we're feeling so poorly. It appears that this number is unregistered; I'm curious as to who was trying to get in touch and how they're managing to use this line. After going through some of the remarks here, our only option seems to be to block these unsolicited calls.

We received a call from these individuals claiming to represent 'Grants for You.' When we mentioned that we are registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they insisted it didn't matter since they were supposedly offering government grants. We simply placed the phone on the table and walked away, leaving him talking to the empty air. A moment later, he was gone! 😂 Let them foot the bill for that call. Normally, we just say someone’s at the door and we’ll be back in a minute, but this time we decided to take our own crafty approach against these unwelcome callers. Let them cover the cost!

I would appreciate it if you could point me towards a complaints page directly. I've just followed the steps, but it seems there’s no option for lodging any complaints. Earlier today, I received three calls from these same individuals, followed by another four where they simply hung up or responded just after three rings. It's the same old story: one ring and they vanish, leaving a voicemail that's completely full of nonsense. What a thoroughly frustrating experience these people are. For more than a week now, I’ve been inundated with calls from this number. It’s getting to the point where I may receive as many as five in a single day! I did manage to get a word in with someone once and requested that they refrain from calling me again, but I’m beginning to wonder if they’re not able to hear me, to be honest! Is there any way to put a stop to these incessant interruptions?
