At first he was giggling and talking to someone else, then told me it was some government grant for boilers older than 5 years. When I told him to listen up because I’m on the TPS, he claimed the government sent him to call me! I just said I’m not interested and hung up! How lovely of the government to look after little old me!!!

I was bombarded with a cacophony of noise, clearly from some sort of call centre. They claimed at the outset that it wasn’t a sales call, yet proceeded to use my name and even mentioned my address! I must say, I had a right good experience with them! My boiler has arrived and it’s just spot on. The chap I spoke to on the phone was absolutely delightful, and the surveyor was equally pleasant. I really couldn’t be more satisfied. Though, I suppose there's not much one can do about those who don’t quite grasp the situation!

I received a call earlier today from a chap named Josh, who quite exuberantly asked for me by name. When I expressed my disinterest, he became a tad impertinent. I promptly hung up. A little while later, I decided to ring them back only to be greeted by the same Josh. I gave him a piece of my mind about his behaviour. While he did offer an apology, my request to be put through to a supervisor to lodge a formal complaint went unanswered, as I was left hanging on the line with no further communication. It truly makes me wonder where these individuals are based. I reckon that drafting a letter might just put an end to this persistent bother.
