He always leaves a voicemail, hoping the person on the other end will ring back to take them off their call list. Have they not heard about the Telephone Preference Service? I’m telling you, everyone should sign up. If you're on the register, these companies can get hit with hefty fines. But you do need to note down the caller’s name, number and all that to report them properly to TPS.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Welsh telling me to call a number to get off their list. Why on earth should I ring up some stranger and shell out 9p a minute, or even more just because I’m not at work? Sounds pretty dodgy to me! How does that even make sense? Give us a break!
