It turns out they were asking for a hefty £149 upfront just to initiate any potential recovery of funds on our behalf. They assured us that regardless of whether their lawyer prevailed or not, we would see our money returned. A quick search revealed some concerning details about the company, and I've made the decision to steer clear of them entirely-there's no way I’m getting involved!
