I picked up the call, and there was a cacophony of sounds reminiscent of a call centre buzzing away in the background. We greeted them with a simple 'hello', but almost immediately, after a brief pause of around five seconds, they decided to hang up. Quite bizarre, really!

Give this a whirl for a bit of amusement - dial 141, followed by their number 01789472130, then switch your phone to private and enjoy their discomfort! It’s time for some well-deserved retribution - only do this when you’ve got a spare moment and when there’s no charge for calling landlines, naturally. These characters could do with understanding just how irritating this can feel. The more individuals that ring them back and keep mum, the better; I could very well send those chancers packing! United we stand! Cheers, ALPHAMAN.

A lady claiming to represent the Ministry of Justice rang up, seeking to speak with my mum, whose name is on the phone account. Oddly enough, she refused to share any information with me, yet boasted about having my mum's date of birth. Strangely, she didn’t provide her own first name! Quite peculiar, if you ask me. She mentioned that my mum would receive a call on a different number, but so far, nothing has come through!

A lady rang us, claiming she was from the Ministry of Justice and wanted to have a word with our mum, whose name is on the phone contract. Strangely enough, she wouldn’t share any details with me, even though she mentioned she had our mum’s date of birth. Oddly, she didn’t provide her own first name at all! She also said our mum would be contacted on a different number, but we haven’t received anything yet. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

We've been receiving a series of missed calls from this number on my mobile. Today, they rang yet again, and we decided to answer. A chap on the line introduced himself as Richard, claiming to be an advisor for a company that sounded something like Centro. Unfortunately, just as he started to explain further, the call dropped. It was quite curious, as we could hear a lot of chatter and ringing noises in the background-definitely had the vibe of a call centre.

Give this a go! Dial 141 first, then enter the number 01789472130, and let the phone dangle for a bit while you revel in their confusion! It's the perfect chance for a bit of vengeance. Just make sure you've got some spare time and it's convenient for you to call landlines, naturally. These callers could do with a taste of their own medicine! More folks should give them a ring back and leave them hanging; they wouldn’t know what hit them! Let's hit them where it hurts in their business. Justice for the ordinary folk! Cheers, ALPHAMAN!
