I answered the phone and when we said, "yes, speaking," the caller exclaimed, "Oh my goodness, we can't speak with this one!" Then I heard a woman chuckling in the background. How utterly rude and unprofessional that was!

The caller appeared to know our names, but they came across as rather inebriated and had a rather questionable sense of humour that reeked of false camaraderie. I tried ringing the number back using our office line, but the individual on the other end did not disclose the identity of their company. Instead, they directed me to some sort of voice mail system, which subsequently led me to a recorded message. Very dodgy, if you ask me.

If you're in the mood for a bit of mischief, give it a go-dial 141 before their number, then flip your phone onto private mode and savour the sound of their confusion! It's time for a spot of retaliation-just make sure you choose a moment when you're free to ring landlines without worrying about the costs. These callers might finally understand the annoyance they cause. If more of us start ringing them back and leaving them in utter silence, who knows, we might just send those bothersome folks packing. Received a rather irritating call from a cold caller claiming they could assist with issues relating to financial mis-selling. Quite the nuisance, really!

The individual on the other end of the line appeared to be familiar with our name, but there was a distinct air of intoxication about them, accompanied by an awkward attempt at banter. I decided to call the number back using the office phone, yet the person who picked up didn't disclose their company's name. Instead, they directed the call to an answering machine, which then switched over to recording. It all felt rather dodgy, if I’m honest.
