I just let a call from this number slip by while I was at work, so we couldn't answer it. After seeing the comments here, I’m quite relieved we didn’t!

I've just had a missed call from that same number on my mobile as well. After reading through what others have experienced, I'm wondering whether we should actually answer if they ring us again, or just leave it be? What do you reckon?

I’ve just noticed a missed call from this number on my mobile. We haven’t a clue who it might be! Seems like we’re constantly bombarded with calls from all sorts of unfamiliar numbers!

I received a missed call from this number but there was no voicemail left! At just 19 and still living at home with my folks, we’re not in any financial trouble, so I’m baffled as to why anyone would be trying to get in touch with us like this.

When you give them a bell, there’s a cacophony of noise in the background - sounds a bit chaotic. It takes roughly three seconds for someone to pick up. The voice on the other end has a Welsh lilt, suggesting it might be a financial office, likely dealing with debts or something along those lines. It could very well be the real deal.

Received a call today concerning some alleged debt. Just to clarify, I’m not in any sort of financial trouble and have registered with BT privacy, so these folks really have no business contacting us at this number.

We recently received a phone call from 01792-344777. As soon as we answered, a woman asked to speak with someone named Ian. We informed her that there was no Ian at this number, and she promptly hung up. Also, the quality of the call wasn't great either.

I received a call from them earlier today. My eldest lad picked up the phone, and as soon as they asked to speak to us, he said, "Just a moment, I'll fetch him." But wouldn't you know it, they hung up right then and there! Just to add, I'm on the ex-directory list and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

It's clearly a marketing ploy, isn't it? Feels like one of those debt consolidation operations, you know, similar to what Ocean Finance offers. It has that distinct vibe of so-called "friendly" loan sharks lurking about!

I recently received a phone call from a dubious outfit calling themselves the Financial Guidance Office based in Swansea. They were boasting about their ability to eliminate our debts by exploiting some supposed loophole in the agreements we'd signed for our loans and credit cards. Clearly, this is a scam, and I intend to report them to the Financial Services Authority shortly. What's additionally concerning is their claim of obtaining our number through the Council. However, it’s worth noting they reached out to our mobile phone, which is currently with Three. Just makes me wonder if our mobile provider might be up to some shady dealings too!

We just received a call from them on our mobile. It felt a bit like we were connected to a call centre or something similar. There was complete silence on the line, and after I said 'hello?' a couple of times, they simply hung up. Quite odd, really!

Earlier today, at approximately 12:25, we received a voicemail from this number. There was a background noise that sounded like an engaged office, and shortly after, about fifteen minutes later, they hung up. Later on, around 3:30 pm, we noticed a missed call from them but chose not to ring back. When we searched the number on Google, this website was the only one that came up. We’re quite baffled as to how they got hold of our number, but we’re rather suspicious and suspect it might be a scam.

I received a call from this number, claiming to be part of a government initiative aimed at addressing debt issues across the UK. They insisted that I confirm the correct pronunciation of my name and even asked for details about my salary and any credit cards I possess. Naturally, I requested to speak with a supervisor. When I posed the question about how they obtained my phone number, the representative abruptly hung up. Quite suspicious, I’d say!

I just received a call from this individual, but the connection was absolutely dreadful. It's worth mentioning that we're only 17 and don't have a place of our own yet-so I can't fathom why on earth they would be reaching out to us.

I've recently come across a number beginning with 015547039 claiming to be a Financial Guidance Office. They present themselves as a government agency focused on debt management, but something feels off. They’ve been rather secretive about revealing their proper company name or even their location. They insist that they've obtained our number from a national database, likely due to a previous loan I took out. It appears to be a debt management outfit trying to push CVAs, but clearly, they stand to profit from any contracts. It honestly felt like unsolicited marketing! I’d definitely recommend reporting them to the Telephone Preference Service.

We received a call from a company based in Swansea concerning unsecured loans, claiming they were involved with a government scheme aimed at tackling household debt across the UK. They posed some personal queries about our financial situation, but we preferred to keep that information to ourselves. The caller was polite and seemed to grasp our hesitation to divulge those details.

When you give them a bell, the ringing sounds rather chaotic with a lot of racket in the background. It takes about three seconds for someone to pick up. Then, it’s answered by what appears to be a Financial Office - possibly dealing with debts. The person on the line has a distinct Welsh accent. Might be the real deal, to be fair.

This number managed to ring us thrice today. As soon as we picked up and let them know we weren’t interested and requested they cease calling, they proceeded to ring us another three times, clearly just to annoy us! Well, guess what? They’ve truly succeeded in that!

I recently received a rather unwelcome call from this source, and I must say, I was far from pleased. The caller, quite brazenly, referred to me as "darling" before diving headfirst into a conversation about personal finance matters, specifically relating to debt. I made it abundantly clear that I wasn't interested in discussing such topics, and almost immediately, she abruptly ended the call as though she couldn't hang up fast enough. She mentioned it was something to do with a government initiative, but honestly, I can't make heads or tails of it. She claimed to be representing the Financial Guidance Office, yet the whole thing feels rather shifty to me.
