Hey Al from Anglesey - it’s not like “they know you” or anything, the number’s just picked out at random. All UK mobile numbers start with 07 and have 11 digits total. With a bit of software and a few servers, they can keep hammering through every possible combination, like 07 + 000000001, then 07 + 000000002, and so on. When I got one of those calls, I just added the number to my phone contacts and called it “Do not answer” so next time it comes up, that’s what pops on my screen. Cheers, Chas from Somerset
