I let this number slip by without answering. Cheers for flagging it up, but I reckon we won't lose any sleep over it. Just a right bother, isn't it?

Absolutely, these individuals are a right nuisance! It's even worse when your phone's nearly out of juice and you're nowhere near a charger. What a bother!

I received two calls from mobile numbers, one ending in 1847 and the other in 1846. It seems someone has cleverly rotated or altered the digits to throw off any attempts at tracking down where they originated from. Quite sneaky, if you ask me!

I received a call from this number the other day, and then again from 01792 211847 earlier today. Does anyone know who these folks are or how they managed to get a hold of our number? Quite curious, really!

I keep getting calls from this number, yet when I try to return the call, it says the number isn’t recognised. Quite odd, isn’t it?

We believe it may be linked to a PPI protection ring at its core.

This number keeps ringing incessantly but never takes the time to leave a voicemail. It's odd because when you attempt to call back, you can't get through. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Could you please reiterate the message regarding PPI?
12 years
When they ring you again, simply disconnect the call and check your call history for received numbers. You ought to find an option there to add the number to your call barring list. So, the next time they attempt to reach you, your phone will automatically turn them away.

I've been inundated with calls from this number as well-it's absolutely staggering! The truth is, I've never even taken out a loan. It's downright harassing, especially since they persisted while I was overseas, meaning I would have incurred charges for answering these pesky calls. It's rather skanky behaviour, particularly since they must have realised I was out of the country given the different dial tone. It's high time action was taken to put a stop to this nonsense!

I've been hounded once more by this particular number, and it’s hardly the only one! I seem to get a different one almost every evening, around the same hour. I've taken to simply disregarding any number that isn't saved in my contacts.

I keep receiving silent calls from this number, all about some PPI nonsense. Honestly, I don’t have any PPI! What a nuisance!

I keep receiving phone calls, but there's never anyone on the other end. It just goes straight to voicemail, and all they ever seem to talk about is debts. So frustrating!

I’m in the same boat. It’s even more irritating since it’s hitting my work phone! I keep getting these recorded messages, and after hitting option 5, I’ve gone so far as to speak to a couple of their representatives, requesting them to take my number off their list. But surprise, surprise-they just hang up on me! We’ve got no outstanding debts or any need for PPI, so I can’t fathom why they keep bugging us.

I've been getting calls on my mobile, despite it being registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). I stumbled across some info on another thread that might be of use:

"These folk are a call centre masquerading as a legal firm.

One of the numbers in their dodgy series is linked to:
REDHAWK LEGAL LTD
6A Prospect Place
Swansea
West Glamorgan
SA1 1 QP

Though they claim to be a legal entity, it turns out their listing with Companies House only categorises them as 'other business support services'. It seems they're really just a call centre orchestrating these scam calls!"

I came across some information on the Redhawk website that I think is crucial to share. **Key Update:** If you've received calls from any numbers between 01792 211841 and 01792 211850, here's a heads-up: please refrain from answering. These calls are part of a marketing campaign from a company unaffiliated with Redhawk Legal. We’re aware that there are some online discussions and blogs attempting to link these numbers to us, and we’re actively addressing the misinformation to set the record straight. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we work through this matter, which is now under the investigation of the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau. If you encounter calls from these numbers, please contact Action Fraud promptly at 0300 123 2040. Thank you!

I've received multiple calls from this number, yet every time I pick up, there's just silence on the other end. I believed these nuisances had been curtailed, but it seems that UK regulations are lacking teeth when it comes to consumer protections. It could be a case of call-divert fraud, though I suspect it struggles to establish because my phone operates through our corporate network. It really is high time we put an end to this incessant call spamming and fraudulent activity. Honestly, from a technical standpoint, halting such practices shouldn't pose a great challenge, and tracing their source ought to be quite feasible. If these calls are indeed originating from abroad, why not give that network a week's grace to rectify the situation before cutting off all incoming calls from them? Quite a simple solution, if you ask me!

Once more, I’ve received a call from that number. My phone’s rather basic and doesn’t have the best options for blocking. These days, I’ve taken to ignoring any calls that don’t show a contact name. Felt it was time to do a bit of investigating online to see who it might be, which led me to your website!

Three ring drop calls really grind my gears! They're such a nuisance and completely pointless. I reckon I get about four of these pesky calls every single day. It’s beyond frustrating! I wish I could find a way to put an end to them, but switching to a new number wouldn’t solve the problem either!

These blighters ring me incessantly! The final two digits seem to alter most days, which is rather annoying. It's like living with a persistent nuisance - I don’t ever pick up the phone for them!
13 years
I've come across information suggesting that these firms merely log the fact that the phone’s been picked up, indicating there's a live person on the line, which leads them to harass you even more. An effective strategy is to save the number in your contacts under 'PPI' and just let the call ring without answering. It might keep ringing, but eventually, it might stop altogether. At least this way, you can identify the caller and avoid picking up; their records will eventually show it as a defunct account, and hopefully, they'll back off. I really don’t think this will change any time soon, as they’re primarily chasing after your cash. Even trying to opt out of these calls proves futile; all it does is acknowledge that a person is there to be bothered.
13 years
This annoying number keeps ringing me, and no matter how many times I decline the call, they just won't take a hint. When will they get the message and just leave me alone?
13 years
I've decided to place this number on my 'block' list, meaning my phone doesn't even bother to ring anymore when they try to reach me. The sole indication that they’ve attempted to call-usually at least daily-is that it pops up in my call history.

If your phone allows for such a feature, I highly recommend making use of it. It’ll spare you the bother of contemplating whether to pick up the phone or let it go.

I've been receiving a fair number of calls from this particular number, as well as a couple of others that end in 846 and 847. Whenever I pick up, there's often silence on the other end, and I also find I've missed calls from these numbers as well. It's rather puzzling, to say the least!

I've just received another phone call from yet another claims firm regarding PPI. They keep banging on about how I can avoid marketing and sales calls by signing up with the TPS. Well, guess what? I’ve done that already! Every single time I remind them that it's their responsibility to take my number off their list and stop calling me, it feels like I'm talking to a brick wall. It’s as if none of them are capable of grasping the message!

This morning, my phone rang with a call from this number, and I foolishly picked it up. To my irritation, I was greeted by an automated voice urging me to make a PPI claim. The moment it dawned on me what they were after, I hung up straight away. It's incredibly frustrating, particularly since I've never taken out payment protection insurance in the first place!

I stumbled upon some information regarding Seldom Marketing Private Limited while scouring the web. Just to share, the company was set up back in March 31, 1997, with the CIN U51103DL1997PTC086218. However, it appears that the business has been struck off and is no longer operational. The registered address was listed as 13-Vidya Apartments on New Rohtak Road, Delhi, India. If anyone's looking for more details or to get in touch with the directors, it seems that those specifics might be available too. Quite the fascinating find, wouldn't you say?

I received a couple of calls within just twenty minutes, but I only pick up for numbers I recognise. After seeing what others have said about these calls, I’m really relieved I didn’t answer!

It’s the usual “we might ring you back, or perhaps not…” shtick. Then there’s that suggestion to sign up on the TPS website to halt the incessant calls, which we all know is just a ruse since they'll probably set up a new operation to carry on bothering you. Oh, and let’s not forget the cheeky 50p charge for this call you've tried twice; the first time, they hung up on you for hitting 9. Expect the same treatment if you try again. Cheers for that, eh?

I've just taken a look at my call records, and it appears I've been pestered by this firm at least three times over the past few weeks. It turns out to be a PPI company. When I mentioned to the bloke on the line that I actually work in the financial sector and arranged my own PPI, he seemed quite bewildered. It’s as if these folks are just sticking to a script, and when you present any sort of logical argument-let alone a proper counterpoint-they're completely flummoxed! Now, I’m off to see about registering my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service and will see how that goes!

I am constantly bombarded by calls from this number on my mobile. I tried ringing them back and hit number 9 to opt out of their nuisance calls, but if I'm not mistaken, I've done that before and they're still harassing me! I've got TPS set up on my house phone, but how on earth do I get it for my mobile? Is that even possible? Additionally, I’ve been receiving text messages from these morons, to which I cheekily replied with a simple ‘bleep bleep’ last time, and surprisingly, I haven’t heard from them since. But honestly, I won’t be waiting around to celebrate yet. It’s infuriating! And seriously, how did they manage to get hold of my mobile number in the first place?

This number belongs to a rather infamous marketing firm, seldom utilized in the proper sense. There’s a father-son duo, the Clarks, who head up various enterprises dealing with loans, PPI, and the like. It’s quite baffling how these individuals are permitted to keep establishing new businesses and manage to swindle enough funds to reside in lavish £1.8 million homes in Henley. One really has to wonder about the regulations in place that allow this sort of thing to persist!

I received a call from this number around 12:55 PM today. I've been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for quite some time now. It's quite frustrating, and I would like to see some action taken against them. Unfortunately, I'm unable to pinpoint who they are, leaving me without any details to report.

Received a call from this number, but I didn’t pick up. So, I decided to have a little nosy on Google to see if anyone else has had a run-in with it. Ended up right here, didn’t I? Typical, innit? Blokes are a bit cheeky, if you ask me!

I highly recommend that you consider lodging a complaint with the ICO. You can find useful information about how to report nuisance calls on the Ofcom website. Here's the link: http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2012/10/recorded-message-marketing-calls/ It's concerning that a platform like this seems to permit complaints without prompting us to take proper action, which might be an elaborate ruse to keep us from pursuing more effective routes for resolution. If that's not the case, then surely this site ought to promote the official channels that hold these companies accountable and impose fines where necessary.

I've been getting persistent calls from this number, and it's clear they possess details that could only have originated from my A&E records. It's incredibly unsettling as they’re now pressuring me to file a claim. I’m receiving a barrage of at least three calls daily, and when I’ve pressed them to explain how they obtained my private information, they’ve responded in a rather rude manner. It’s quite unnerving!

I've been receiving calls from this outfit roughly once a week for the past couple of months now. Their supposed opt-out feature seems to be about as useful as a chocolate teapot, which is no shocker at all. This time, however, I decided to take matters into my own hands and 'process my claim'. When I inquired about the name of the company, they claimed to be the PPI Helpline. I pressed further, asking if they referred to PPI Helpline Ltd, and the response was an affirmative 'yes'. The only trouble is, I can't find that name registered with Companies House, so I suspect they might not be entirely truthful. Oh, and the representative mentioned they’re situated at 12 Queen St in Glasgow, should anyone feel inclined to drop them a courteous note. At this juncture, I’d lost interest and chose to let the matter slide.

I've had three missed calls from this number during the week of 29th April 2013, and they haven't bothered to leave a message. My mate's been getting calls from them too. When you try calling back, you just get a voicemail saying it's a sales and marketing outfit, and that it's nothing to fret about. They suggest reaching out to the Telephone Preference Service if you want to opt out. Well, I'm definitely going to get in touch with the TPS because these calls are a real nuisance, especially considering my number is already registered with them. What’s more, the voicemail doesn't even bother to mention the company's name, which is quite infuriating!

It seems this number keeps ringing my mobile without fail, and I’m seriously considering blocking them if possible. I heard someone mention getting in touch with TPS to put a stop to it, but I’ve been signed up with TPS for ages, and these calls keep coming through because it’s my mobile. Plus, I’m inundated with marketing calls on my landline as well, which TPS appears to completely overlook. It's beyond frustrating!

I’ve just received a call from this number, and upon answering, all I heard was a series of beeps before the line went dead. After a quick search online, I stumbled upon this site, which has at least shed some light on the source of the call - another pesky PPI claims firm! Honestly, the banks ought to just refund everyone and put an end to this saga. That would certainly silence these nuisance callers!

The other day, I happened to see a fascinating programme where a chap received a phone call from one of those pesky telemarketing firms. He played a clever game, keeping the caller engaged just long enough to ascertain their identity. After he figured out who they were, he politely informed them he had absolutely no interest in their services and added that any further nuisance calls would incur a charge of £10 for every minute. He even went so far as to formally notify the company in writing about this. A few days later, lo and behold, the very same company called him again! This time, he engaged them for a staggering 19 and a half minutes and promptly sent them a bill for £195. Remarkably, he managed to collect the payment after threatening to escalate the matter to small claims court. What a brilliant way to tackle those relentless callers!

I've been bombarded with incessant calls about PPI claims, and it’s becoming utterly infuriating! My poor husband and children are also receiving these annoying calls. I reached out to O2 to see if there was a way to put a stop to it, but their response was just to grin and bear it! Such a frustrating situation!

I usually avoid picking up calls from unfamiliar numbers, to be honest. I never even shared my number with them, so it's quite baffling as to how they got it in the first place. Someone should really be held accountable for this; that’s my take on the situation!

Hello there! Just a quick note - I acquired a shiny new phone number last Wednesday, the 24th, and lo and behold, I received a call from this number today. I got my phone from Phones4U, and I'm currently signed up with Orange for my contract. Given that I’ve been careful not to share my number, could this call possibly be linked to one of these companies?

I've had three phone calls today from this number, and I'm starting to feel quite anxious about missing a call since my mother-in-law is quite unwell. It's really frustrating to be hounded by this number so frequently-about 45 times a week, and sometimes up to 23 times in a single day. I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out how to make it stop!
