Got a ring this morning and the number looked local, so I almost answered. They claimed to be from my bank's fraud department saying there were two dodgy charges on my account: one for £300 at Amazon and another £1200 sent overseas. They wanted me to press 1 to chat with someone. As soon as I heard it, I knew it was a con. Ended the call immediately and blocked the number straight away.
