I got a call from someone trying to sell a boiler the other day. I told them I was busy and ended up just hanging up. Then, later on, the same company called back and asked if it was Mrs X. When I confirmed, the person on the line made a silly rude sound and then abruptly ended the call. Really shows what kind of place they are dealing with.

Someone called me saying they needed to talk to the homeowner about a government boiler scheme. When I asked for more details, he just repeated it was about the boiler replacement and then hung up on me. The guy said his name was Thomas, and this isn’t the first time he’s rung - pretty annoying really. Wouldn’t bother picking up again, just a load of time wasted.
