Got three calls from this number earlier, didn’t pick up as I didn’t recognise it. Seems like it's probably from some new letting agents, maybe about broadband or utility stuff for the new place. I decided to block the number and added it to CallBlocker since I’m not comfortable sharing my info.

It might just be a coincidence, but I have a feeling the estate agents we're renting from have shared our info with these companies. We've already received texts and emails about broadband deals linked to the agents at the new place... Plus, I know Spark Energy has our details now too, as we've been told to expect a welcome pack once we move in! We're not planning on taking up any offers or advice from the businesses tied to the agents. I've explicitly asked them not to share our info with anyone, yet it seems to happen anyway. From what I understand (and I could be mistaken), the agents probably get some kind of cut or bonus for recommending these services or handing over your data. Otherwise, why would they bother?

Got a call from someone saying they were Entwistle Green, trying to push broadband from a company I’d never heard of. They already had my phone number, email, and even my home address. Feels like they might have hacked into the genuine Entwistle Green records or maybe got hold of landlord info somehow.
