I’ve had three calls from this number today, but I’ve chosen to ignore them all since it’s not saved in my contacts. It seems likely they’re linked to the new letting agents, possibly concerning broadband or utilities for my new place. I've now decided to block it and have added it to my CallBlocker, opting not to share my information!

It might just be a fluke, but I've got a hunch that the letting agents from whom we're about to rent our new place have shared our details with these other firms. I've already received both an email and a text regarding broadband deals linked to our agents, and I’ve also been informed that they’ve passed our information over to Spark Energy. Apparently, we’ll be getting a welcome pack upon our arrival! To be honest, we have no intention of heeding the agents' suggestions or offers from any of the companies they seem to represent. One of the main reasons is that I explicitly requested that our details not be shared with anyone else. From what I've gleaned-though I could be mistaken-it seems that agents receive some sort of kickback for steering clients towards these companies or sharing their data. What's their real motive, if not profit?

They've apparently identified themselves as Entwistle Green and attempted to market broadband services from an entirely unfamiliar provider. At present, they possess my phone number, email, and home address. I've got a strong feeling they've somehow managed to tap into the genuine Entwistle Green records, possibly even snagging details from landlords connected with them.
