Today, I received a call from someone who was prattling on about my Amazon Prime subscription renewal. He had the audacity to say he was representing an Amazon call centre and insisted he worked for them. As we chatted, I took a moment to have a look at the number on the internet, only to discover it had been flagged for scams more than a few times. So, I didn't hold back and told him to shove off!
