We've been receiving calls from this lot all day long, inquiring about dubious bank fees. They claim to be associated with the Ministry of Justice, which raises a few eyebrows. I've received the same call, and it's certainly not the first time-it's probably the sixth call I've had in just a matter of weeks! We're completely in the dark about how these folks are getting our details. One would assume they'd be interested in whether we've taken out loans or any such matters to warrant these calls. It’s quite clearly a scam aimed at prying into your personal information. We made it very clear that if they dared to call us again, we'd track them down like the hounds they are. Oddly enough, they hung up rather quickly-definitely not the friendliest bunch! Haven't had any further communication from them since.

I can completely relate! Just the other day, my phone rang with some company asking about a loan we supposedly took out between 2001 and 2007. The truth is, we never did! So, we told the lady on the line, and she quickly backtracked, mumbling an apology about having the wrong person before hanging up. Then, out of the blue, we received another call from Legal Redress, claiming much of the same nonsense regarding bank charges and wanting us to provide further details. Honestly, we think it’s all a bit dodgy!

I’ve just received a call from a company called DLC Global. They claimed it was a public awareness initiative regarding unjust bank fees. We made it clear that they couldn’t assist us in any way and inquired about how they acquired our phone number. It was puzzling as the caller seemed to know our name. He mentioned some sort of national database but said the manager was unavailable. While he eventually dropped the company name, he couldn’t provide an address and acted as if he had no idea what we were talking about. The number began with 01790 which is linked to Lincolnshire, yet Companies House indicates an address in Swansea. Quite the mystery, isn’t it?
