01789 629474 gave me a ring, saying they were checking if I was alright after a motorbike accident, and asked if I wanted to claim compensation for loss of my bike and other damages. Supposedly, some money was waiting from a third party. I humoured them for a bit until they requested my bank details for the payout. I then told them I don't even ride a motorbike, so they must have got it wrong, but they oddly said I might get more money for that?! Total scam, and since they called from Stratford upon Avon, they’re about as dodgy as one of Shakespeare’s worst tragedies.

A woman called Amy got in touch about a crash I’d been in and asked if I was hurt seriously and if I’d contacted my insurance. I told her I couldn’t call them because I was dead, like I’d died in the crash. She just told me goodbye then said “see you in hell,” so I replied “see you there” and hung up.

Got a call from AMS claiming it was about a car crash I supposedly had last year. They said Aviva, the other party's insurer, had set aside £2500 for extra compensation for me. Then the person got really rude, calling me a liar and shouting down the phone.

Got a call from 01789629474 today around 12.56pm. The bloke said he was from a company called AMS and even knew my name. He claimed my records showed I’d been in a car accident in the last year, but it wasn’t my fault. I just laughed and told him he was talking rubbish. He kept going on, so I kept laughing and then told him it was a scam, told him to jog on, and hung up. Blocked the number straight away.
