Got a call about a car accident claim that supposedly happened to me 2 years back, said I wasn’t at fault. Asked where they found my details and bloke said it’s from some database. When I pressed for the name of it, they just cut the call on me. Definitely sounds like a scam.

Someone said they were from “AMS” and knew about my car accident. I played along just for laughs, and they even ended up calling a solicitor (yeah right!).

He said he was calling from Accident Management Solutions and told me I was owed money from a car accident I had been in. He asked for my full bank card details including the long number, expiry date and the 3 digit code so they could transfer the settlement to me. But if I didn’t give him this info, he said he wouldn’t be able to pay me the money waiting for me. Strange thing is, he didn’t even ask for my sort code or bank account number!

Another one of those accident claim calls. Tried to mess about with them, but as soon as I said it was a boat crash not a car, they just ended the call. Barely lasted a minute. Gotta be more convincing next time.

They didn't give any proper info and were super unclear. The fact they called a second and third time is just irritating. Haha, just got a call about ‘My car crash’ LOL. I’m actually bursting out laughing here. I’ve been really fortunate not to have had an accident since I was a kid. So I went along with it. When they asked if it’d all been sorted, I said it was ages ago, I barely recall. Then they asked how long ago exactly, and I said nearly 40 years, no joke!! The guy’s reply? “Wow, your vehicle must be ancient!” I legit couldn’t stop laughing, tears streaming down my face.

Got a call from a woman near Stratford upon Avon, very pushy saying I’d been in a car crash. Problem is, I don’t even drive! I told her to stop, but she just got louder and kept saying I had an accident. So I blocked her number, but then she phoned again from a London number, still arguing. What a load of muppets.
